Professional experience
• Providing comprehensive legal support to multiple foreign companies entering the Belarusian market, including a full range of services related to company formation, structuring, and business operations in the Republic of Belarus. This encompasses participation in the development, negotiation, and execution of investment agreements;
• Project management of mergers and acquisitions, including conducting Legal Due Diligence, in the banking, IT, retail and real estate sectors;
• Representation of a foreign shareholder in a major corporate dispute, resulting in a successful outcome in what was initially considered an intractable situation;
• Providing consulting and support services for an investment project aimed at developing a large-scale construction project in the Republic of Belarus;
• Accompaniment of an M&A transaction process in relation to a Belarusian bank, including Legal Due Diligence;
•Representation of clients in intellectual property disputes, including enforcement actions against market and import infringements into Belarus, utilizing customs and administrative procedures. Successful representation of a major Belarusian manufacturer in a dispute with another major Belarusian manufacturer, resulting in a swift resolution and full recovery of legal costs from the opposing party;
• A substantial number of copyrighted materials are included in the Consultant Plus (ilex) legal reference system.
